Wi-Fi service used to be novelty but today, it is fast becoming a deciding factor when choosing between a F&B shop with Wi-Fi, and one without. A survey reported 84% of the respondents would purchase from stores with Wi-Fi, 96% would return to the same hotspot locations, and some businesses reported a 30% increased in sales.
The demand for wireless access to LANs is fuelled by the growth of mobile computing devices, and a desire by users for continual connections to the network without having to “plug in”. Businesses are not only migrating to wireless networking, they are steadily integrating wireless technology into their wired infrastructure.
